Two explosions were detonated today at the Boston Marathon.
Please pray or send your love to the people injured or killed in the explosions. It's just a horrific scene & I thought that I'd open up a thread so that we can all share our heartfelt messages to the people of Boston.

There are people from all over who go to Boston to participate in the marathon. It's terrible that stuff like this has to keep happening.

I get goosebumps when I see stuff like this happening. So tragic too. and so fricken pointless.

A third explosion went off at the library. This is ridiculous. You can't even run a marathon safely??
All flights have been grounded and the hockey game had been cancelled.

3rd explosion ended up being an unrelated fire, so I guess that's better? Much love to our ORG'ers in the Boston area!

I live about a few blocks away. Heard the explosion. Very scary stuff. Sad day

I'm hoping that any of you are not from the Boston area and if you are then be safe. The world is a very sick place and just keeps getting sicker. It's really sad.

Hoping everyone is safe and ok, and anyone in the greater Boston area or participating in the marathon itself are safe and alright.
