Hey boys!!
Congrats to you three on making it to the finals.. As everyone, I am pretty jealous. I was actually shocked the round I left.. Good job.
Mark We had a really good talk about strategy the round I left, and I am just wondering, where you considering helping or flipping sides? Or where you just saying that to me? I was 100% true to you saying that I would have made you into my finals plan. Was there any way of you flipping?
Thiago great game buddy, its yours to lose I believe. I liked our chats, but I tried contacting you many times, and you didnt say anything to me.. Was that just you ignoring me, or was it because you where voting me out that round?
Zac Hi. lol.

Hey Carly.
I downloaded an app on my phone called IM+ and to this day I still can't figure out how to keep it from saying I'm online even after I've closed the application. I made posts both on Reliquum and Farrago in the tribe forum letting them know that I'm not ignoring them. I never ignored people when they were being voted out, and was honest to people when they asked if they were leaving/receiving votes, with the exception of Gloria due to her having an idol. I think it's really not respectable to ignore people and is rather cowardly.
I remember the day you left I had class from 6-9 that day, and when I left my class at 9 the results had already been posted and I saw some messages from you that were sent while I was in class.
I really enjoyed our conversations and it was always genuine. As you can see in Chad's jury thread, I probably got to know you better than even some of the Favorites. I valued our chats and was very interested in your profession, which is a position I admire because it takes a lot of hard work that many people couldn't handle. I'm currently studying for my dream job, so I really loved speaking with someone who had the same passion for their occupation that I hope to have one day. We had, what I considered, a nice moment when we discussed how you handle being in situations with newborns passing away.
Voting for you was a vote I did not want to cast, but we couldn't risk the vote being 5-5-1 with Knox being adament that the vote had to be for you.
I can also answer Mark's question for you. He told me after my class that you had revealed a bunch of stuff that made it seem like you were in the centre of the action in the Fave alliance, and that we made the right choice in voting you off, so there was no way he was flipping and he was actually very happy that we voted you off after your conversation with him.
I also wanted to add that I do feel that, although we got along, you leaving was a good thing.
Gloria had told me while on Farrago that you were tight with her, Steph, and Beau, and when Beau left, that you must have flipped. When Steph was voted off, this confirmed that you had flipped and Gloria wasn't too impressed.
I think that you played a similar position as I did on Reliquum, except while on Admonitio. You were the centre between two alliances, and I know first-hand how difficult it is to maintain a position like that. You also had your Season 3 boys at your fingertips. I think coming back from Season 3, you wanted to prove that you were a worthy competitor and you did just that. The irony is that, in Season 3, you were kept around because people felt you were not a threat, but this season you left early in the merge because you were a serious threat.
Thanks for your questions!

No problem <3
Although to Mark's credit, he also did not want to vote you off at all and was pissed that Knox was forcing us to do that; however, after his conversation with you, we both realized that it was definitely the right decision because you were in a pretty good spot, and may have been some of the glue that held the Faves together.

Why, thanks, T! But I can answer questions for myself really. We've heard enough of your input in this jury phase.
Hello, Carly. Lest you be fooled, Thiago is selling a lot of crap that you guys are buying and manipulating the situation to make him look like the lone puppetmaster. I mean, why else would he need to answer for me or grill Zac in someone's thread, when really Zac is not on trial by him? It's because he has something to prove, and explaining it away makes him feel persuasive. Lest you also be fooled, Thiago may have been away in class all day, but he had enough time to answer me and wanted desperately to know what you were saying to me. So...I felt like I needed to make that clear.
As in any situation, there is always a place in your head that makes you go...hmmmm...about someone's plea for you to change things up. We all did it at one point or another. The slightest bit of me thought I might be strong enough for such a scenario to work out, but I stuck with my guns, because loyalty does mean something to me at any rate. Also, you and I hadn't really connected in any capacity up to that point due to our schedules, so I couldn't very well just flip with people I didn't know, especially when I had a plan set. So, the answer is no, I was pretty certain I wasn't going to be flipping. But if I humored a strategic talk as I did with you, Liam, and Ben, it most assuredly gave me information I needed to stay on top of what I considered the other side. I was always actively seeking information, and I know that seems like a scumbag thing to do for those it worked against, but those were my intentions. Also, at this point I was watching Knox closely for flipping and looking for signs of anyone being close to him, so that was another reason for the information I wanted to take and analyze.
And lest you be fooled a third time, Thiago didn't *not* want to vote you out out of the goodness of his heart or some grand connections you guys had made...it's because you were a non-entity to him that could easily be stamped out like a bug later on. So there's something to chew on. Just because someone socially raped the game and knows every tid bit of facts about people, doesn't mean it was for pleasure.
Carly, after I spoke with you, and I even wrote this in my confessional, I knew voting for you was the right thing to do. Because you are that good at strategy and talking points. It's the truth. I even went so far as to designate you the glue quite possibly the head of those favorites that remain, as far as strategy went.
I hope that clears some things up and answers some questions for you.

Well, I think it's really disappointing that it's come to responses like this from you, Mark. I have been genuine in my answers, I care about both you and Zac very much, and I haven't gone below the belt with any of my comments.
Of course I am going to ask Zac questions when I feel his arguments don't add up. We are fighting for to win this game and anyone who doesn't question their opponents is not playing to win.
I never stated that I was the only person who puppeteered in this season. We all played a role, we all did our part. Of course I am going to accentuate my role in my answers, because that's the point of this whole ritual, isn't it? To campaign for ourselves, not each other.
I would like to clarify that, if I recall correctly, I sent this during my 5 minute break, since I had many missed messages from him. After asking him what was going on, I didn't reply again until after class. I'm not sure why I would reply to Carly saying hello during a 5 minute break, only to not be able to respond for another hour. I'm pretty sure results had been posted near the end of my class, though, so I know that Mark and I didn't get to discuss your conversation until after you were voted off.
I have stated in many jury responses that I never had any intention of working with Carly, Ben, or Liam because they were on the opposite side of the game and I wanted Fans to the end. Carly can verify that I never made her any promises nor did I ever imply that I would be willing to work with her, because I never intended to. This does not mean I didn't enjoy the connection I made with Carly, nor does it mean that I had some grand plan to befriend her and vote her off, like you did with Ben. I don't "stamp people out" like a bug. :S
This is where Mark is incorrect. He himself knows that I joined this game because I wanted to not only play the game, but meet new people. I missed the social aspect of these online games, and after 4 years of being out of it, I really missed that and I wanted to acquaint myself with some new people because I have met some amazing people through games like these.
I'm surprised, Mark. I haven't said any mistruths about you in these jury deliberations. When something is twisted enough, it becomes a lie. You're treading really close to that fine line.

Don't expect me to not come to my own defense when you feel the need to answer for me. It just tells me I may just have something to say you don't want me to say, am I correct?
There are no twisted truths or mistruths coming out of me, or else I'd be saying, "I'm the puppet master!" "I did everything alone!" "I know facts about everyone in this game!" "I was a challenge whore!"
When I confided in you I feared I wouldn't have time to answer these mammoth answers before Sunday because of work and my weekend schedule, your response was, "You're saying too much...don't be so detailed." When I haven't said half as much as you. The fact is, I don't really have to prove anything, my game pretty much speaks for itself.
1. I turned my game around, with the help of others, but mostly me because I handled the situation correctly as opposed to how Pilar or someone like that would have responded.
2. I ingratiated myself. I know you think you swooped down and tucked me under your wing like the mother hen, but I needed no help from you to connect with Zac, Knox, and Gabe...even Dion for that matter.
3. You may have swept the path, but I built my own relationships with Bree and Starr, because I am socially good in these games. If I wasn't, it wouldn't have worked not matter what you sold them to go after my loyalty.
4. You gave me as much information as I gave you. Let's make this clear. We ran to each other.
5. If I hadn't have been the mediator between you and Knox, I fully believe Knox would have laid the smackdown on you, and you would have been none the wiser. Let's be real honest there.
6. The number of challenge wins in this game really mean nothing, especially when you get down to Farrago and NuReliqqum, as you call it, because you had people like Chad on your tribe who are challenge powerhouses, also pulling their weight...and one challenge in particular came down to who could be online all at the same time and who couldn't. Let's be honest our tiny little tribe had 3 people to choose from as opposed to 8 and we couldn't all get together.
Let's also remember that I helped you win a challenge you otherwise may not have won...as you helped me. Let's bring that on the table shall we? So don't toot your individual challenge wins.
7. You needed me to find that sword. 8 out of 10 fish? Sure, I'll give you that, but hypotheticals like "I could have found those 8 fish myself if I had the time" hold as much water as "You could have found those 2 fish if you had the time."
I'm only being aggressive because it's past time for me to be aggressive about my game. If it's coming across that this is your game to lose, or that Liam thinks I'm saying I couldn't have done it without you, then it's time for me to prove that.
I'm only being genuine, and I'm especially going to be aggressive with you if you are going to take it upon yourself to answer MY questions.
Now, this trial is not a Mark is on trial by Thiago or vice versa. So anything else I respond to will be what players what me to respond to.

No, that isn't correct. I answered your question not on your behalf, but because it was something I had wanted to address but had not been given an opportunity to in any questions asked of me thus far.
I'm happy for you to be aggressive and defend your game, but not going as far as just about lying. I guess I'll have to expect more of it from you until Wednesday. I'm just a little surprised because I didn't think you would get so nasty. You're not going to see me stoop to that level.
You told me the other day that you didn't think you could answer all the questions given the time constraints you had, and I said then don't type as much as you had in your first answer to a question, because then you'll not be able to answer them all. If you shortened it a bit then you could answer everyone's questions. I think that was a comment as a friend giving advice on answering all the questions, since something is better than nothing.
Bring the topic back to Carly and her thread, I simply did not appreciate you saying that I planned to "squash her like a bug," which implies that I had some sort of intention of befriending her and voting her off, but Carly knows that I never made any sort of inference that we should work together at all, so I'll leave it for her to decide.

Just to make it clear, Thiago and I never made any deal in this game, yes I felt like we got to know each other very well.. I told him things I havent even told people on my original tribe, like about my work. I dont think I have told anyone in the ORG world about things that I have seen in my personal life. So yeah it kinda hurt, you voting me, but it is a game, and he had to do what he had to do to make it to the finals. But he could have atleast told me something, gave me a heads up. Since you did say you did do that with everyone besides Gloria.

let's be clear. And level with ourselves.
The social aspect of this game reads: make friends. vote them out. period.
I mean that's what you did with Gloria isn't it? How about telling me you were upset Starr left because it wasn't on "our terms". Don't pretend that wasn't said. It didn't even need to be said at that point in time because you had nowhere to go and I knew you weren't going to betray me.
Don't be offended that that is the way you felt about Carly...and Taylor. We wouldn't vote them out over Chad because they would be squashable later. Don't rewrite history and pretend you didn't ever feel that about them or vocalize it.
There are many things you have said that have been offensive to me like how I was enamored with you? How about calling BS on my touch walk?
I think you just don't know how to respond that Mark could actually be aggressive. im not being nasty. I'm not attacking. I'm calling a spade a spade and I guess saying things that should have been said in my opening statement. I just didn't want to bog them down with things they would just ask me about later. If someone wants to know something from you, they will ask YOU...not me. So that pisses me the heck off that you would take it upon yourself to answer FOR me, which is what you said you were doing.
Members of the jury, Thiago needed me on this game. He wouldn't have been able to do half the things he did without my info that I gleaned from my parasitic would- like ways. I assumed my role as I've said a billion times. there was no other role to assume after my game was turned around in round one. in other role.would have made me a target for as Knox once said in a judgement..."Mark worked his magic." So I did into my role perfectly making everyone think I was dependent upon them in the Fan circle and at the bottom to the Favorite circle. I knew what I was doing. And I knew what to do with information people freely gave me. A may not have had the luxury of time to be there and chat you all up, learning everything about your personal lives and/ or your aliases, only to rip your heart out when I voted you out. But I played my part WELL. And don't have to manipulate that, add to it, make it something it's not, or answer for other people. This is me, this is ALL, no facades.
thank you. I feel like this needed to be said because I hadn't been aggressive enough. Especially if Liam thinks I'm coming across as attributing everything to Thiago
Well here it is.

What I see is someone with an hurt ego, who didn't expect to have jurors say that it's my game to lose, and is unhappy to not receve the praise he believes he's entitled to, and has now resorted to mudslinging.
We've both said things to each other, because we became extremely close in this game, on a strategic and personal level. Sure, this is may be just a game to you, but for me it was an opportunity to meet new people and play a game I find really mentally stimulating, although tiring.
We aren't playing for a million dollars here, and there is a good chance that many of us will play together once again in some online games in the future, if any of us are to play another game, so you won't see me bashing anyone in this Final Judgment process.
I see some real anger and straw grasping coming from you right now, and I understand that you're upset with what some of the jurors have said, but I have yet to resort to skeezy low-balling. Everything I have stated has been completely accurate, at least from how I perceived the game. I've simply presented my argument, given the strength of my game, in a way that highlights what I did well. I also understand that you aren't happy that I haven't sat here and oozed about how great our game was, because there is only one winner, right?
