Episode 1 ~ Let the Games Begin

Just cause this is easier. The first challenge is tonight at 9pm, which is ironically exactly when my floor meeting starts. ~_~ They usually last like 10 minutes so I don't expect to be gone long. I'll bring my phone in case my tribe needs me, though. Anyway since the first challenge is tonight I assume it's due time to start an "episode 1" thread. I was going to put everything in my other thread, but I can leave that as a safe haven to communicate with you guys for the hell of it. Of course, game-related questions can go in my episode threads. But for the social riff-raff, I guess I'll use the Ben's a black Ken!

First things first, YAY Liam is playing! ... Idk why I'm excited about this? But I am! I need to message him ASAP though and be like I'm so glad you're playing! I hope he doesn't carry a grudge from last season (even though I slightly do since he voted for Ryan to win. RUDE!) But it won't be anything that affects this game, so I'm excited to see how we react to one another. We never really got to work together last season, so hopefully we get the opportunity to now. There are 4 of season 3 people in the game which is awesome (for me) but probably looks bad to others. I imagine people may start to think we're together. If we did decide to align and work together, we would only need 2 more people to gain a majority (Tina has Chad and I have Gloria/Taylor) so it could be done, but let's just not. That's dumb and would give control to Chad/Tina and Gloria/Taylor. I want some for myself. =]

Anyway of course I'm going to get in good with each season 3 person individually, but I plan on also getting in well with Laela, Taylor, Gloria, and Selena (which I already have). So, now I just need to speak with Beau, Chad, Stephenie, and Zoe (and, of course, Liam). But I do need to leave the door open so I can have some targets. I can't get in good with everyone and then backstab everyone one-by-one. -___-

Also, let me note that WOW. I guess the "clue" Laela found was a clue after all, which is excellent. The word "ass" becomes an image, and it's one of the images we need for the idol on the Ephrates River. That's exciting and hopefully we're able to find some more words.

Anyway my tribe is a mess for the challenge. I told them I'd be back by 9:10-9:15 (ironically Morgan said not to start till 9:15). I was sat out of the challenge because they weren't sure I'd be back lol. Whateva I'm good at puzzles anyway so I'm excited for that part. =] I hope I rock it! I gotta shiiiine.~

I told Gloria that the "Ass" was a C, but I didn't realize we didn't have to find it. So she says "it's cankerworm." And I'm like huh? And she's like "the answer." So I messaged Morgan but Gloria beat me + she said she wanted to go to Eden or whatever, blaaaah. I gave Gloria the tools necessary to get the idol yet didn't get it for myself. I. AM. SO. DUMB.

A lot happened on the first night, let's see.

First, Liam and I bonded over a game of extreme apples to apples (Tina and someone named "Jonah" played too). I used this to spread doubt about Chad/Tina to Liam. > From there, the challenge ensued and I missed the first 15 minutes, but I outshined the competition in the puzzle race. I wonder how close it was lol.

Anyway afterward, I talked to Chad, Selena, Carly, Liam, Taylor, Gloria, Laela, (Zoe now...) idk, like fricken everyone.

Carly and I are viewed as a package deal, according to Gloria. It's weird, because while Carly and I are, in fact, close... I don't think it's a package deal. I did show her IM's of Laela bitching her out when her computer died, spreading doubt about Laela to Carly.

Laela told me Chad tried to throw Taylor under the bus by saying he was the one who told Gloria that Laela wants Gloria out (oops, it was me.) Gloria said she'd only spoken to Chad, so Laela "knew" it was Chad, and now thinks Chad/Gloria/Tina are together.

What did I do? I told Gloria and Taylor. You know. Just casually spreading doubt about everyone to everyone else, leaving myself crystal clear. heh

In the tribe chat, Steph said she knows Beau IRL or something, so Laela is lumping them with C/G/T in a group.

Laela thus offers myself and Zoe an alliance, and asks for us to find the idol with her... yikes, Gloria is asking me the same. Did I mention Gloria asked Taylor and I for an alliance? I obviously much prefer this one, since Taylor is my bro. I help Gloria more, and she finds the same 7/10 as me (I have the C from ass, and Laela tells me Beetle, and I find Peacock). What do I have? All 10? What do I do with all 10... Well, this is where I'm running for a touchdown and fumble. I tell Gloria about them, basically and she gets it before me. How? Because I didn't realize I didn't need the image of the C fish. -___- Blah. Whatever! I'll be on the hunt for the next one, you can bet that.

The thing is, having the idol is an extra target on your back though. It's better if no one else thinks you even have the idol, so then you're not targeted as a blindside. Gloria said she'd use it on me if I needed it (guess what? I don't need it) but I think I'm perfectly fine with Gloria, so I need to keep her around since she has the idol that's rightfully mine.

Anyway, Laela/Zoe want me to believe it's: Chad/Tina/Gloria/Liam/Steph/Beau
against Laela/Zoe/Me, and that they have Selena and *I* need to get Carly and Taylor (I can, but do I want to?) Honestly, my ideal alliance is myself, Taylor, Carly, Liam, and Gloria... so no. I don't really want to pick off the other side. I want my own side, and that's what I'm going to get.

It's my way or the highway.

Laela is a whore and trying to get herself in good with Gloria, Chad, and Tina (and Steph) as well in order to make Beau and easy 11-1 boot.

However, I think if I can trust Beau, he'd be more loyal and valuable to me than Laela. I'm working on countering that Chad/Tina/Steph/Laela/Zoe(/Selena?) group with myself, Gloria, Taylor, Carly, Liam, and Beau. o.O Oh dear lord could we have a tie on our horizons? Perhaps.

Basically, I don't trust Laela/Zoe, Chad/Tina, or Beau/Stephenie. But if Selena is going to be with Laela/Zoe (not confirmed) then we may need Beau, especially if this group wants to vote Beau out 11-1. The outsiders (people without pairs) can work together (me, Carly, Liam, Gloria, Taylor... Selena should come as well, and we can get Beau if the other group is voting him.) Maybe?
