First up...
Laela was a huge underdog in Season 1. Outcasted on Day 6 by the Angels tribe, Laela had to work her way into the good graces of everyone while still maintaining strategic prowess. Unfortunately for her, the combination of an emotional breakdown and the boot target winning immunity cut her time just before the merge. Can she position herself better this time around?

In Season 1, Selena was known for being very vocal in how she felt about the people around her (especially one in particular). She was able to make allies that took her all the way to the Final 2, but she lost due to a poor social game. Can she clean up and take home a win this time?

Chad has been a Good and Evil regular for sometime, and has a history for being taken by surprise. In Season 2, he led his tribe to assured victory- allowing him to barely see Judgement pre-merge. Unfortunately for him, the Good tribe got the better of him and he was blindsided at the merge. Will he have better foresight this time around?

Taylor was an early contender to take the whole game in Season 2. His allegiance with Henry seemed unstoppable, however when the old Aqua tribe turned on each other- the game was handed to the Ventus girls. At the Final 7, Taylor was blindsided when Henry won immunity. Will he be able to stay in control this time around?

Zoe was a huge character in Season 2- encompassing the title of "coven negbitch" with the utmost of reverence. She was known for being outlandish, spontaneous, and downright villainous...all the way to her blindside when the Coven alliance was uncovered. Will she be able to keep it calm and collected in Season 5?

In Season 3, Ben always had a hard time deciding between his heart and his head. As a loyal member of the Ellis alliance, he was forced to betray and often go against many of his friends and allies for the sake of the "group". When Ellis was forced to turn on each other, Ben found himself betrayed by the very people he protected. Will his naivety get the better of him again?

A controversial addition to this season, Carly has proved that you at least can't argue with results. Making it all the way to the Final 4 after playing a very under-the-radar game, Carly was eliminated when the others realized that she had a brain. Will she be able to maximize her potential, or fall to the sidelines again?

Liam's Good and Evil can be encompassed in one phrase: "a little white lie". A small lie he told at the beginning of the game blew up to epic proportions, making him have to fight round after round just to even stay alive. While he was able to get a vote nullifier to tie the vote- he lost in the tiebreaker challenge after a hard fight. Will he be able to fight a bit longer this season?

Tina's legend in this series' canon outweighs her actual strategic contribution. Known for being rude, volatile, and outrageous- she made her mark in Season 3. She developed a cult fan base with her other contestants, and some of them even named their alliance after her (of which she wasn't a part of). Can she change her image this season and be taken seriously? We'll soon find out, I'm sure.

Beau was pretty infamous amongst the Season 4 cast. He often found himself as an underdog, consistently in the minority, and unable to gain any mobility. He often lashed out toward other contestants while still maintaining friendships with others. With just a week in between last season and this season, will he have time to change his ways?

Gloria started out Season 4 as the Queen Bee of the Napa tribe. She was smart, outspoken, and strong in challenges- and she seemed unstoppable. Then the swap came along, and a few of her allies found greener grasses and voted her out pre-merge. But, she wasn't to be stopped, and returned to the game from Purgatory. Unfortunately when she came back, she was never able to find her footing again and was voted out in a double boot round. Can she regain some of that Napa glory?

And lastly...
Much like Laela, Stephenie found herself at the bottom of her tribe at the beginning. With some great social and strategic ability, she was able to muster her way past the first few rounds and into the swap- where she shined. At the merge, however, she was idol'd out in a very controversial 3-2 vote. Can she redeem her crazy elimination?

Great read. Although the inaccuracy/retconning of history in a few of these is laughable...
