Wow this game just turned head on heels right at the start. Leading up to it, conversation took place and pretty much everyone had just boarded a boat to vote out Gloria and none of us were having her. Then, Chad... who gives me 0 intellectual credit, went and spilled the beans to Gloria. I mean, it just kinda sucks because I really wanted to work with Chad, but obviously, if he went and threw me under the bus to Gloria, then the guy doesn't want to work with me.
I decided to have a conversation with Gloria, clear the air, move on, and still target her. She is actually a decent human being. I didn't like her rude behavior in season 4, and again, the finale was the cherry on the top. She's still entitled and a bit pretentious but, whatever floats her boat.
Chad told me "Gloria asked if you're after her, and I didn't deny it", and then proceeded to throw Taylor under the bus.
When I was talking to Gloria, she flat out told me the only person that gave her any attention prior to me messaging her was Chad. SO LOL, Chad is atop my shitlist at this point.I don't see sense in him trying to screw me over when I approached him and genuinely wanted to work with him. At this point, if we go to a tribal council, I'm really going to work on getting votes for him to leave. He's the only person that has actively seeked out a way to screw me over, so why should I make a new enemy if this guy is trying hard to occupy the spot?
The challenge was GLORIOUS. In the group chat, I pretty much appointed Liam the retriever. He's a smart guy, were getting along, and I wanted him to feel chiefy. Then, I sort of took charge and made the images for the first post for everyone and sort of organized the climbing up and down. Tina was also a superstar in the challenge. I really like this girl, but shes crazy, so I am a bit cautious with what I say to her.
After our win, I went ahead and congratulated everyone and thanked them personally for their effort. It felt great to win and it honestly sort of brought us together.
Beau, Steph, Taylor missed the challenge. Steph came back to the group and while we were all opening up, she went ahead and told us how close she is with Beau and how they grew up 15 minutes apart and how they have long silly talks blah blah. Thanks Steph, we'll be sure to split you guys up.
At this point, not much strategy is being talked, at least not with me. Overall though, I think the game is REALLY just... NOT strategic at the moment. I'll post a video update tomorrow
