Hey everyone.
I thought it might be useful to make a thread where we can all communicate about the challenge and a preferred strategy.
I had a couple ideas:
1) We should use verbs as much as possible. Verbs are short, which gives us space to add "ing," "s," "er," or "ed" to the end.
2) Do we want to have one big thread where we all work together and see which "game" we can get the most points on? Or should have our own thread and play the challenge ourselves, and whoever has the most layers will be the challenge we submit. Of course, if someone is doing really well some of us could always stop working on our own game and help them out and work together on it.
Let me know what you think!

I'm wondering, do we focus on earlier layers comprised of fewer words? Letters with bigger points, so we have room to expand into latter layers?

Do you mean we all work on our own but here at camp Thiago? Because there might be people like myself lol who need help or people unlike myself, who don't lol

Yes I mean in our tribe forum maybe we should have multiple games being worked on at once. Not every single person has to make their own one but someone may find a start and then we eventually shift onto that game. I think if we spend all our time on one game we could get held up/confused. There's so many of us.

I agree with Thiago. We have a long time we should focus on different strategies as different people have different ideas, no?

Yes, I agree. Also, we should focus on higher valued letters on the first layer that can be used over and over again in latter layers...like job can be later turned into jot, and then jut...etc etc...that way we get the full value of "J" every time without reusing the number of "J's" we have. Make sense?
Stay as close to 50 for each completed layer so we have room for more layers!

Do we know if we are allowed to all turn in the same answer? I also think that trying to use the letters that give us more points can be really convenient. Also remembering we can add letters and then stack them to make a longer word.

I re-read the challenge and something to note. The winner is the tribe with the most letters, I believe points only matter in a tiebreaker. I would not sacrifice your ability to stack layers in order to use less popular letters.

Your primary objective is to have as many layers as possible posted by the end of 24 hours. If both teams have the same amount of letters posted, then how many points you have accumulated will break the tie. The host said "letters" is a typo; he meant to say layers. The tribe with the most layers wins.

Ah well I guess the same goes. Not sure how likely it is that we will have same amount of layers, possibly pretty likely. We will see how high we can go. I will work on this tonight.

So I have to rush out of the house now. I would appreciate it if someone maybe looked over what I've done so far, I had to do some editing so I'm not sure if it's perfectly in order. Anyone who wants to add onto what I've already posted is more than welcome to!
Keep in mind that proper nouns (names of people, cities, regions, countries, etc) are not allowed even though they do show up in dictionary.com searches!

Hey guys good job so far! Sorry I have not been around much. I got a lot of stuff piled on me last minute so I've been trying to work on it. I'll be on later today to work on the challenge and chat. I appologize for keeping all this hotness away from you lot, I know it's hard but I'll be around later.
