Well, things certainly have gotten better. There was a lot of silent tension between Gloria and I, somewhat like a giant glacier, and I was just waiting for the glacier to either completely melt and flow like water OR for the thing to crack and explode into thousands of different pieces completely destroying our tribe morale and destroying the favorites as a whole. However, I'm very persistent and I began to actually read into Gloria, just have normal conversations with the girl and she isn't half bad. She's still definitely a force to be reckoned with, but I mean... lets give me some credit too, I'm not the dullest one out here.
Having spoken to Gloria a TON, I decided that the only way to make sure she doesn't go and try to axe me is to propose an alliance with her. I proposed working with her, Chad & Tina, since I know Chad and Tina are her MAIN allies. I also spoke to Stephenie, and Steph said she could throw in a few good words to Gloria and see if we can make a five-some. I even offered to try to "reel in" Zoe and Liam. Zoe, because they all know Zoe is close with me, and I said Liam because I know Gloria is close to Liam, so if she thought that I am taking a liking to people she's close with, she'd be more inclined to work with me. Never once did I mention Ben, regardless of the fact that Ben is probably my favorite person out here.
I then began to try to fish for a target out of their mouths. Chad said Beau was a pain to watch, but that was pretty much a reiteration of Gloria's thoughts. Gloria's target is Beau. Which... ironically, is FINE by me. I'll vote out Beau and not think twice. Give the fucker 7 votes, let him go.
If Beau leaves anytime in the near future and the tribes do not change, we have 11. A group of six would make up the majority.
Me, Zoe, Selena, Carly, and Taylor is FOR certain. Again, Ben is my favorite, but I know he's smart. I'm sure a little bit of talking and Ben would be on board. At that point, I would 100% be willing and ready to vote out someone like... Chad or Tina... or even Gloria if I sense a swap or something coming. I mean come on, the girl is pretty smart and letting her get to merge and run around with Chad and Tina is going to be a HUGE hindrance to my game.
For now, I think I've wedged myself neatly, I just need to be persistent and I need to keep performing in challenges so that I have some say so in who gets the boot.
