10. AJSeason: The PlaguesPlacement: 8thEdgic: CPPI would probably venture to say that AJ is the person in the series who had the most overwhelming PW support. Her elimination was not only devastating to the cast, but devastating to the viewers as well. She was a capable and likable ray of sunshine that brought hope of a possible change-up to an otherwise textbook season. AJ actually started out in a very poor position on her team- and was able to turn it into a 4th place position after the Leah/Jonah/Kendell troupe. Luckily for AJ, Season 3 was a season full of swaps. And with AJ's pregame with Ryan, she was always in a good position even if her tribe were to lose. AJ's big moment came when her old team had the majority the round before the merge. AJ was able to convince Chase to vote out Leah instead of getting rid of Carly, which set the tone for the Ellis domination at the merge. Probably what sets AJ above the rest were her fresh confessionals, where she was able to showcase her bubbly personality along with her strategic and social prowess- something the series has never really had before. This kind of personality can really be seen in her "funeral" at the end- which was one of the most memorable moments of Season 3.

7. DominicSeason: The PlaguesPlacement: 6thEdgic: OTTCPNDominic is hands down the biggest villain of the first three seasons. His delusion and lack of self-awareness combined with his keen intellect and ruthlessness really make him a great full-circle character in the Good & Evil canon. He's the kind of player who counts down the seconds until he can blindside someone again. He likes to win challenges, find idols, and make eliminations all with an iron fist. It's very compelling to watch, and he's got a great wit about him that makes him hilarious. More positively, Dominic was the tribe and alliance leader of the Ellis group, and he often was proud to take bullets for his team and his alliance. He was all about Ellis domination, which unfortunately became his downfall later. He started out on the Ellis tribe, and didn't really have to make much of a move (outside of outcasting Yuri). When the swap came, he pulled in the trust of Jonah and Chase- and mercilessly took out Jonah (with help from Ellen). He also helped orchestrate the elimination of Tina's idol, and he found it when it was rehidden. On the swap again, he was a focus of attention with the whole Ben/Liam debacle. He was pretty instrumental in targetting Liam, but it was at this time when he strategy began to crack. Colleen and Ben were both seriously considering defecting to target Dominic, and it was a pretty good sign of where Dominic really stood. After Dominic went after Chase pretty vehemently in the first merge challenge, he kind of solidified his status as a glorified villain. He was pretty cunning and reckless with it, as well as when he cut Kendell at the final 7. Kendell leaving was the final nail in his coffin- and Ellen cut his throat at the Final 6. Definitely a great story arc.

1. EllenSeason: The PlaguesPlacement: 3rdEdgic: CPBefore we get into the reasons for ranking Ellen #1, let me preface by stating that I spent a lot of time trying to think of reasons/excuses to make Ellen #2 or #3 in order to try to dissuade the h8rs that like to think that Ellen was successful in her season because we're friends. To those h8rs, please step forth in this thread with your concerns. Anyone who thinks that I would ever rig in support of a player or anyone who thinks I would let a player have an advantage in my game has no respect for me and should swiftly be removed from any future seasons. While I completely understand being jealous of Ellen, I will not ~tolerate~ having my perfect name slandered. TY. Now, real talk, I actually did have a large struggle with where to place Ellen. Looking at her edgic chart and her performance, it's easy to say that she didn't lack "the fire" or "personality" that made Henry and Cassie my instant fave-os in their seasons. I actually found myself rooting against Ellen for the majority of the merge because her path to victory was just so fucking boring (ty Colleen for changing shit up). However, if this ranking is supposed to be a sort-of-objective mix of strategic, characterization, overall gameplay, and entertainment: Ellen does deserve #1 at this time. Personality-wise, Ellen put her entire heart, mind, and soul into her season, which can clearly be evidenced by how she talks about it ad nauseum. Every conversation she had, every decision she made, and every heart she broke- no matter how controversial- was calculated by her. She was the first person in the entire game to have random people who she didn't even like rank her as #1 in their voting lists. She was called Kim Spraldin by many of her allies who were absolutely content going to the finals with her and losing. It's a testament to her power as a player and her genuine likability. I don't really even need to go into details about how much she controlled of the game, but what I can say is that she didn't rule with an iron fist and she didn't constantly demand control. She let others make decisions (i.e. Dominic's love of blindsiding) and she knew when to step back as well. It's a sign of a well-rounded player. I think a big reason that I had a hard time really finding her to be a great personality is because I was so familiar with her personality and style of gameplay going on, but looking back, she really had some great zingers. One example is below in her Fallen Comrades graphic (ignore the ugly-as-fuck font please. It looked so much better before I resized it): Truly a star.

Aw, thanks Morgan that really means so much to me... as pathetic as that probably sounds. The Plagues was probably the biggest roller coaster ride for me in a game, ever. Every single person was phenomenal and brought something truly special to the table. While it might have started as just another ORG, I think that I can speak for the whole group when I say that by the end, every last one of us was completely drained; it was exhausting, both emotionally and mentally, and it definitely pushed me to my limits in every possible way. For all of the ups and downs, it was honestly just a fantastic experience. <3
Thank you so much for hosting a great series and for writing these awesome write ups. I'm truly grateful!
