Hello everyone, I can totally admit my confessionals were lackluster last season, but that's because I didn't have too much going on and I accepted my fate of going to the end with Colleen and Ellen, it just so turns out I was too trusting. I've learned from my mistakes and I'm definitely not going to "accept" my fate. With that being said, I've been planning on going above and beyond. Ever since the original FVF cast was revealed (even before season 4 occurred) I've been planning on how I'd approach this. Obviously I want All-Stars, but at the same time, I'm not going to make hasty decisions just to come across as a big player in order to do so.
From the moment the original three Favorites were selected from my season (The Plagues), I was planning on staying loyal to Chase (and Liam) because we were secret partners and I wound up voting him out last season, it would have been nice to have a different ending to the Ben/Chase storyline. Also, I think Liam and I had the potential to work together but never did. Alas, oh well. I'll have to seek other options, I suppose. Let's see...
Lemme evaluate last season's players first, since I was able to somewhat observe them play and I feel I know them a bit more than the previous players. First of all, I loved Gloria in her season so I'm excited to work with her and maybe be her Luca (heeey yo). I don't really have many opinions on Beau/Steph from their seasons, but I thought Beau was cute and Steph is black so I'm sure I'll get along just well with this season's cast.
Another person who I was looking forward to working with was Amy. She is g0 girl or something, and we get along really, really well. The only thing is that she and Gloria hate each other, and I have the potential to work with either of them. I was planning on either making them work with one another because I know they both like me and I could potentially say "hey, let's put the past behind us and work together to move on." Or I could have just played middle man and let them duke it out. At least I would have known I wouldn't have been first boot... HOWEVER, this was blown to shambles when Amy dropped because Gloria was being a little bitch about her.
I just find it funny all of my potential top allies one-by-one started dropping from the cast: Chase, Liam, Amy, all are gone. <___< Oh well, I'll just have to work harder to secure my safety in this game, which I'm not afraid of attempting to do.
Anyway, I obviously have some sort of relationship with Carly and Tina from my season. What kind of relationship? I really don't freaking know lol. Carly played a role in blindsiding me and she tried to get me voted out instead of AJ, and I also tried to get her voted out at final 5, but I was blindsided instead. For the record (regarding your write-up), I don't remember saying I like blindsides! I didn't even think Carly going would have been a blindside, since as you said - she wasn't in the core. I just don't want to be viewed as a cold, conniving, bitch when I don't feel like I am one.
Tina on the other hand, I really have no idea how to read her. I don't know how she feels about me, since I was a part of the Anti-Tina Alliance in my season, but I never actually had anything against her, since I barely saw much of anything from her. I only joined the alliance because my "friends" of the season were in it lol. Whatevaaa. It'll be interesting to see these dynamics.
I have virtually no relationship with the others: Chad, Laela, Selena, Taylor, Zoe(?). (You can add Beau and Steph to this as well).
However, I believe Chad to be Jonah from my season? I remember hearing that Jonah and Tina are close outside the game (which I found odd they didn't work together in The Plagues), but I guess it's because they were alias or something, I don't know/care. But in a FVF/AS season, all bets are off, so I expect them to be working together, which isn't good. Apparently Laela would also be with them, iirc?
Speaking of which, I know Laela is Faith, and Faith was an annoying bitch who isn't afraid to speak her mind and go after what she wants. She is someone who will get on my nerves easily because she's so OTTN and annoying and I can't deal with people like that. (Well, I can, but it will literally drive me insane to.) If I had my way, I'd have her out in no time... unfortunately going against her could also spell doom if she really is the go-getter I think she is. So, we'll see.
Selena is someone who I've been told is a good fit for me. Apparently she's super loyal and someone who I think I could very easily get along with. I'd love to work with her and at least get to know her and see where her head is at.
Taylor is potentially someone I can work with as wel based on who he is. I think I'll try to talk to him, see where his head is at, and get to him before anyone else has the chance to. The only thing I need to do is find out how to contact him. I feel like PM'ing on the board is really clicheé and it's easy to leave a trail. "Hey, Ben is ALREADY messaging people - he's such a threat!" Whereas if I message them, I have a good chance to get in their good graces before they spill the beans and throw me under the bus to anyone.
Zoe, is she even playing? I don't know. I don't know who she is, but I'm gonna get on it ASAP to figure out who some of these people are, what ties they may have with each other, and most easily - their placements in their respective seasons. Lesssgo!
