Bree
Edgic: MOR
Gameplay: 6
Expected Placement: Late pre-merge
Bree hasn't been playing poorly. For someone with a schtick, her social game seems to be very good. While she's in the minority on her tribe, she's 3rd in the ideal boot order- which could screw her if Julian and Starr go to the mutiny. Her best bet would probably be to mutiny at this point- and it'll be interesting if she does. She has a lot of potential to be a good and interesting character, but right now it's not happening for me.
Gabriel
Edgic: UTR
Gameplay: 7
Expected Placement: Mid-to-late merge
Gabriel is kind of an UTR/MOR narrator/challenge threat kind of character. He's not a strategic powerhouse, but he's definitely a funny guy to listen to. He's got himself in a solid position on his tribe, but that's only really because Thiago decided that he liked him the most. Gabriel is probably someone who is going to go far because he's not at the very top, but nowhere near the bottom. I think he'll probably charm some Favorites too in a swap or merge situation.
Julian
Edgic: OTTN
Gameplay: 4
Expected Placement: On death row
Julian is pretty much screwed regardless of what happens. If he stays on his tribe, he's screwed- if he mutinies, the Fans will get majority and then they'll probably take him out before the lingering Favorite. Even Bree & Starr aren't with him anymore. Personality wise, I actually like Julian and I think (aside from his stupid schtick) he's been entertaining.
Knox
Edgic: CP
Gameplay: 7
Expected Placement: Early merge
Knox is someone that I really love. He's dedicated, self-aware, aware of his surroundings, and likable. Unfortunately for Knox, somehow he's always scratching to get into a good position. He just can't make it happen for himself, and it's possible that in a swap or merge he'd be fine- but I can't see him getting to a win. He'd really have to get some sort of opportunity to take the reins. I would love to see that happen though.
Mark
Edgic: CPP
Gameplay: 9
Expected Placement: End Game
I think Mark is probably going to win this season. I'm adamant that a Fan is going to win, as they're just the more likable tribe (with better players as well). I like how he's pretty much already wanting to stay with Thiago, but to take Thiago's power away from him. I could see Mark sweeping a jury vote because he's intelligent and likable. I'm so happy he switched that first vote around. He's hilarious in his confessionals as well.
Starr
Edgic: MORM
Gameplay: 6
Expected Placement: Pre-Jury
Starr is a mixed bag for me. I think that she's got a lot of potential as a player and as a character. I like how she could've easily fallen into the delusional villain role ala Julian/Dion, but she's pretty much steering clear of it. She's really surpassed my expectations- but as a game player and a character I really think we could be getting more out of her. Especially considering she's our first plus-sized contestant.
Thiago
Edgic: CP
Gameplay: 7
Expected Placement: End Game
Thiago is kind of hard to pinpoint for me right now. He really had everything in the bag if he had played his cards right, and he's losing all of the real power to Mark. People are starting to be able to read right through him- and that's not good at all. I feel like he could easily be a FJ loser, or he could be blindsided. I don't want to see him become a villain, but it almost seems like an inevitability at this point.
Zac
Edgic: MOR
Gameplay: 7
Expected Placement: Early Merge
Zac is a huge enigma for me. I feel like he's MOR in all sense of the term. He just escapes my mind all the time when I'm thinking about the contestants- and on paper he seems great. Smart, charismatic, good at challenges, in a good position in the game. IDK, but something just doesn't really stand out for me here. I guess only time will tell what kind of impact he makes.
