Round 9 Confessionals

It’s like time goes by and things happen, and I can keep up with my confessionals less than the game itself. I by no means think or will delude myself in any way that I think I have this game in the bag. Because I don’t. I mean….TWELVE people. And there are so many scenarios.
Selena leaving was to be expected, so I’m thinking we know the lay of the land from Admonitio. Unless someone picks up Taylor, I think he will just stick with the familiar.

Here’s what I know:

1. Carly/Liam/Ben – possibly the solid trio of the group (for which Carly betrayed Tina/Stephanie/Chad). File that one away.
2. I despise Chad.
3. There are 2 unaccounted for apples, plus a sword that we thought Laela had.
4. I despise Chad.
5. Gloria is “on the outs” yet somebody was still giving her all the Admonitio information while she was on Farrago. She isn’t talking at the moment, sitting pretty with her idol. More power to her.
6. I despise Chad.
7. Chad and Bree were supposedly “besties”, but Bree sure seems ready to ditch him.
8. I despise Chad.
9. Starr and Bree are both intellectually, strategically, and emotionally unstable.
10. I despise Chad.
11. Ben’s a nice guy, but reeks of playah.
12. I despise Chad.
13. We strongly suspect that one of the unaccounted for apples could be an extra vote…which = bad news bears for this potential tie situation.
14. I despise Chad.
15. Chad still wants to vote Knox, Zac, Mark, so the Farrago 5 will consume the rest of the favorites. This is a tidbit that Ben and Liam need to know in due time. But haste makes waste, don’t ya know?
16. I despise Chad.
17. Just like Hilary Clinton is about to find out “what difference it makes”, these people are about to find out who’s who and what’s what.
18. Oh…did I mention I don’t like Chad? Oh that’s right…I believe the phrase was I DESPISE CHAD.

So now that we’ve got all that out of the way…I told a little fib, even to Thiago. You can forgive me later, buddy. When Chad was schmoozing me, (terribly, might I add), he told me Starr wanted me in the Farrago 5 instead of Bree. I switched it around a little bit and shared it with Thiago and Bree. Ooopsy. “I want you [Mark] in the Farrago 5 instead of Starr.” Not the truth. I need to sew a little discord among the Farrago 5, particularly towards Chad. I mean, I don’t have to do much because he’s strong-arming everyone and shooting himself in the foot. It’s the 17 year old in him. If wasn’t as cock-sure as he was cock-hungry, than it might work out for him. Whether this round works out for my benefit or not, I plan to destroy him on the way out of this round. What? He shouldn’t have gone and pissed me off. Yes, I heard he was bargaining with Bree to take me out of the challenge because he was certain the puzzle would be between the two of them. And he’s trying to beat me at smite. Sorry, my friend, Thiago has helped me smite myself ahead of you. And because of your little motivation, you inspired me to stay up all night doing the puzzle, memorizing the pieces. Thank you for that.
This still isn’t to say everything will go off without a hitch. There’s so many scenarios to consider…like a double vote, or them not actually voting Knox…all kinds of things.
I believe our current plan is to get it out that we are targeting Carly…so that if the other side does have an idol, they may use it on her. When really, I think we are going to vote Chad. Thiago and I have bounced around the idea of giving Knox Thiago’s apple, which means immunity. But we don’t want to give it to him if he is not actually receiving the votes. We don’t want to use my sword, because then it will put another idol back into play. We’d rather know where the idols are.
Anyway, we have our work cut out from us. Come hail or high water, we will make this work

I'm such a terrible person. And I don't know if I'm a terrible person for doing the things I'm doing...or for liking it. I've never played this balls to the wall in my life. I blame the mask of Mark Jeffcoat. I also blame not having anything to prove with 7 wins under my belt, the latest one being my last game 2 years ago. Now I'm legit just having some fun.

Though I've always played with an element of risk. You can't get someone to trust you if you can't be somewhat candid with them. But there's a fine line in what info you give without shooting yourself in the foot.

Liam PM'd me tonight, pointing me towards the fact that Thiago ousted me from the challenge before any of the fans. Well, yes, good sir, he did. Thiago and I have already had a good laugh about that, because I was ousting him before any of the faves had I won the confessional round. Anywho...this opened the door wide for me to come running into Liam's arms with my vulnerability.

To be honest, I've pulled the table out and prepared a nice sumptious buffet for quite a few people. Namely for Liam and Taylor. I had to fill Ben in because I did just what I feared I'd do with my AIMs being all in the same window. I sent him something that was meant for Thiago. So...I had to go with it. Anyway, after the events of tonight, Ben, Liam, and Taylor should be thinking that Mark is ready to jump ship. I spilled EVERYTHING about how Chad was wanting to axe me, Knox, and Zac and then turn on the favorites. I threw a little tidbit in there that Chad was mad that Carly betrayed him when Stephenie was voted out. This Thiago found out from Gloria...so I passed it along as if Chad told me.

Now here's the part where I'm horrible. Liam asked how I know all this. Well I couldn't say Thiago or Bree or Starr told me, because that just wouldn't make sense if I was supposed to vulnerable. So I told them that Chad accidentally IM'd me something that was not meant for me....kind of like I did just now with Ben?

And Liam was like....oh wow. I think the clincher was the bit about Carly. Because it wasn't seconds but he was all formulating a plan. He initially was pushing me towards Starr, planting the seed that no one likes her. But then he got to talking about Chad if we had the numbers.

Of course, I know this all could backfire. And I could be being played like a fiddle. But with 12 people, surely word will get back to me if I'm the one they plan on targeting, and my sword will come out so fast, I'll change some religion (or genders) with a flick of my wrist. But as for right now, I'm having so much fun watching people squirm....and causing it too.

This round, while not more crazy than any other round, has been significant in its own intrigue. We feared going in a 6-6 tie. Chad not wanting to budge from voting Knox...Gloria not giving out anything...then Knox acting weird about voting Chad over Carly...then Liam approaching me about joining up with them(even though he can't promise me any better than 5th or 6th). I mean really? He actually says that? You promise them the moon!!! Well anyway, I went with it mainly to see who they'd be voting for. I spill my guys too Liam...though not really...then he high trails it out of there. How rude. Now it's come to my attention that Chad and Gloria are willing to vote Carly. That's just odd. Ok. Derp. So Starr is all on cloud 9 that we fans no longer have to worry and sees me off with this odd send off:

Starr: Tell your family you love them because you never know when it will be your last...

What the what?

Apparently the other Faves are voting Bree. That's new. This from Chad. Why would he blatantly go against them if he knows this? Especially if Gloria supposedly wanted her out so vehemently.

I haven't seen Zac in 2 days. Normally I would have had 10 pm' s from him by now.

Liam has sent me a pm. Those elusive "people" don't trust me. they show up in every game, those nameless people. So annoying. So Liam gave me 2 options...1) vote with the fans. 2) vote whoever I want and take my chances voting coincidentally how they are voting. Both of them "to see how it works for me." Again...who says crap like that? Are we at all surprised he's never made it to the merger before?

The only thing that bothers me about all this is that Liam is supposed to be some mathlete. Is he really this devoid of common or strategic sense? Oh and because I haven't heard from Zac. Surely if something was going down it would have been run by Thiago. Nevertheless my sword is cocked and ready.
