I worked really hard to play in the challenge. I think Gloria and Chad could tell I really didn't want to throw it, and I knew both at one point contemplated throwing it to take Bree out, but no way was I going to let a fan number down. I know the fans aren't solid but having any favourite advantage allows for the fans to be in a position to be outnumbered, and any risk needs to be avoided.
We won the challenge and I couldn't be happier. I really pushed Gloria to keep trying because she kept saying hers was too hard and she wanted to give up. I kept worrying she was just trying to throw it but I really pushed her and I think at that point, even if she wanted to throw it, she couldn't because I was really waiting for her to deliver. I wanted her to feel that if she threw it, she'd look bad, and looking bad is worse than getting rid of Bree. I think I accomplished my goal and we were safe.
