[10.2] Ben There, Done

There are two threats to me. One must go.

I have my sights set on the next target: Ben. Yeah, he's a nice guy. Yeah, he's a threat. That's why. We need to dupe Liam again into thinking Carly is the target to goad out any idols. Yeah, it's Carly. Will he be willing to waste an idol on her? I don't know. But this is the last time he CAN use an idol to cause damage. Otherwise, he's in a 6-4 hole.

The thing I have to worry about the most is Starr's stupid mouth. She not only gave Chad a huge tell that he was leaving, she kept Knox out of the loop when we most need him. I know I can't count on Starr to help pull this off. She is going to drop hints to somebody, and if she does, she pays the price by being on the wrong end of an idol. Or maybe I will. It all depends on who Liam thinks is the biggest threat to him. May be me, may be Mark, I don't know. I know Liam is the shepherd and Carly and Taylor are eating off of his staff.

The one great thing about not doing much in the challenge is that I appear to be less of a threat. If Liam is smart, he would gun for whomever is the biggest threat to him - at least from what he can read. Can he read me, or is the naive Quebecois girl making that difficult? He has no idea what I'm capable of or that I was the one that went after Chad... at least, not yet. I have to be careful.

Not as much as I would have hoped. For some reason I find it hard to focus on.
Still, I keep up with work throughout the semester, so I did alright.

It's almost like talking to a plant. One that can talk anyway. I mean, yeah, he's a math geek. He has the personality of one, only without... any eloquence or technical forms of speech. Like... "Salutations! I am gratified to make your acquaintance." That kind of eloquent technicality.

I can't kill Liam yet. He's the biggest threat to me. He's the obvious target. Carly is the other end of the spectrum: The useless, inactive pawn who never gets on AIM, never posts much, and votes as she is told. She's easy pickings later.

The one person I want out the most right now is Gloria, but I honestly don't think making a move on her is the ideal situation, as she is closer to Thiago and Starr. In case shit hits the fan somehow, she might have to flip to us to avoid being targeted. She could help us vote out Knox or Zac if one of them is a rat. For all I know, one of them may have voted for Mark last round and not told anybody so they could play both sides this round. That's definitely not out of the question given their position. They're 5th and 6th with us, and Knox should realize that. Hence why he should vote Ben and Carly out with us, then get Zac to flip with him at the final 9 and blindside Starr, then vote with them for Thiago or myself. Then flip back and vote with the fans to take out Liam. Then they're in a driver's seat.

Of course, are they that smart? I don't know. They're both relatively quiet compared to myself, Thiago, or... Starr's big mouth. Plus, they should know that the three of us are aligned given the Dion vote, and that... Dylan and Curtis aren't with us. Lulz, those two. Definitely two very shady characters. Wouldn't be surprised if they had a deal, so sacrificing was, in fact, the best move for the three of us. Which was, though... FURTHER evidence that we're aligned.

This is what worries me. If somebody comes to this conclusion, one of us is bound to get 9th place, because that's the most logical. I get that not everyone is that logical, though. Flipping now would be stupid, as that guarantees you sixth at best. Flipping next round is not necessary, either. You have to do it at 9 if you want any shot at winning. That's why I have to tread carefully, and make SURE it is Starr that gets a target over me. She'll do it to herself, don't worry
