So results just went up and STARR IS GONE!

Two things just happened for me. I pooped my pants thinking Gloria has been playing me and she just took me out, but then when I saw the Starr votes I was really happy.

The faves really chose the wrong person. I don't know why they didn't vote for Mark...

Mark has the idol, which they don't know obviously, and is also a big challenge threat. Starr has yet to be a competitor in any of the challenges. I figure they wanted to vote for Bree but with her immune they chose Starr.

I'm worried Bree could flip on us but I think at this point she knows there is still a silent majority with the fans. I think Mark and I may need to consider making a Final 3 with Bree to keep her in check.

Knox I hope will feel less inclined to switch with Starr gone; he likes Bree more so hopefully Knox will be solidly in our corner.

I think the 5 fans need to stick together now. Mark's idol may come in handy. The faves don't have an idol since Mark has it, although they could have some sort of double vote apple which could spell disaster. I just hope the faves choose ME to swing so I don't have to worry about any other fans being asked to switch.

I'm glad Starr left that way. This way I don't have to betray her like I had to. Now Starr is sitting on the jury and I can get her vote without a 16 year old's feelings being hurt.

So here is the update!

Bree was telling me she was worried Knox flipped on us and wanted him off next. I told her that I don't see why Knox would have any advantage by telling the faves the vote was for Ben, and that Knox isn't a threat and we shouldn't vote him off.

However, hours later Mark tells me he decided to see if Knox would fall for a little lie, and Knox took the bait. Mark told Knox that the favorites told him that he told them that we were voting Ben. And what did Knox say? Knox paused and then said that he told Gloria that the vote was for Ben because he felt he wasn't being listened to and that he wanted to show us that he is a player too. He said that he wants to vote for Taylor next and if we all don't vote Taylor then he will flip to the favorites.

Okay. So Knox is mentally unwell. There is no strategic advantage for him to have done that. If he joins the Favourites, he may very well have a shot at making the finals, but he will not receive a single fan vote, and the favourites will not vote for him out of "gratitude"--they will vote for one of their favourites sitting up there with him. He is a goat in this scenario.

I don't know where Knox gets off saying that he wasn't being heard. Does he not remember the last round where he ordered us to vote for Carly and that he would be fine with the vote tying 5-5-1 if we all don't want to vote for Carly. He's essentially doing the same thing once again.

Knox is the least active player in the entire game. He is on AIM for a couple hours always after midnight, and he responds to PMs 12+ hours after they have been sent. He doesn't have a read on this game, so I don't see where he gets off thinking anyone would really need his opinion anyway. He can't make informed decisions for the group because he doesn't know anything.

I think that Knox's move must go beyond the game. I think he must have some sort of pregame or strong relationship with a fave that was formed before the game started. I fear this puts us in a really problematic position. I don't think Knox wants the Fans at any point to be up more than 2 people because then he can't force a tie at best. He wants to always be in control. The minute we have the numbers to take him out, I think we will. I'm really hoping right now that Knox does vote for Taylor. I hope that Mark's lie will keep Knox thinking the faves aren't loyal to him given they "gave up" secret information that makes him look bad. I'm praying here.

Ben keeps trying to get me to flip but I don't buy it. I really don't. I think Ben is shady. Mark already showed me that Ben has been telling Mark things I've been saying badly about Mark. Ben told me he is not one to tell people what others have said about them, but he's proven he is a shady player by telling Mark exactly what I said about him (that he was a threat). Mark of course already knew about this beforehand so it didn't cause any problems, but it showed us both that Ben is a gamer like we've assumed, and a sly one at that. Ben also helped Mark out on a couple passwords in the IC so I think Ben has invested himself somewhat in thinking Mark will indeed flip over.

Since trying to get me to flip to the faves, Ben has approached Zac and Mark to my knowledge also. Who knows what he's said to Knox or Bree. I feel very nervous about this upcoming vote. It could very well be me.

I decided that I needed to really hash things out with Gloria. I needed to exploit our relationship to try and gather information that could be of use, especially given that we have an idol that nobody except Mark, myself, and Zac know about. I told Gloria that I felt like I've been waiting to play with her and things just keep going along the same tribal lines and I feel odd that she hasn't said anything to me in a while regarding strategy and that I need to know where I stand with her, and where she fits into my game. I said I felt alone and upset and I tried to really--essentially--use emotional warefare against her to make her feel like I'm really angry. She really fed into it--or she's a good actress--and I could see her really struggling emotionally, or so I think I did. She said she wants to win this time and she's trying to keep her emotions out of it and she didn't expect to meet someone like me that she really bonded with. She reminded me that there are 3 people, one being me, in this game that she does have an emotional attachment to. I am now beginning to wonder if one of them was Knox... Anyway, Gloria told me she doesn't know how much she can tell me because we are on opposite sides. She said she knew I must be pissed at her for voting out Starr. As soon as I expressed that I don't care about Starr, and told her a small lie about Starr forcing me to sacrifice or else she would get Reliquum to vote me off, she opened up to me much more. She said she's really sorry and feels shitty, and admitted to me that she had 2 apples, one being a mutiny apple that she never used because she always felt safe with me on Farrago. Of course I immediately shared this with both Mark and Zac, so now we know there are no more apples floating around and our idol is the only power left, for now. Moreover, Gloria admitted to me that she found the idol on Day 1 and found it shortly before Laela, who had both Ben and Zoe helping her search for biblical animals. I kept telling Gloria that it's okay if she has to vote me off. She told me I was one of the names they were still "deciding" on and this is why she feel so terrible, because she wants to win and doesn't know where I fit in her game right now. This to me made it sound like Gloria felt she likely had a majority, meaning Knox probably flipped. I do know that Gloria hates Bree, and Ben has been pushing Bree to all 3 of Mark, Zac, and myself, so hopefully this is who they indeed vote for... it really depends on who they see as the biggest threat.

I feel bad for playing Gloria a bit there. She could have been playing me also. But if she wasn't, I'm sorry but I really needed to get her to open up more. She said she would tell me if it was me, and she hates to say that... but this is great because if I know I'm getting votes, or Bree, then we can use the idol if Knox is shady. Mark wants to take out Gloria now which concerns me, but at this point I do believe Gloria is in a great spot with the faves and she is a central figure now, since Carly left, that I have to worry about. I do think I will lose her jury vote if I vote for her, so I'll have to cross this bridge when I come to it.

Mark and I were thinking of forming a fake F3 with Bree and maybe tell her about the idol and all the Knox crap so she will be loyal to us and we can keep a read on her.

I sent Knox a PM about how shocking the vote was and that I hope the fans will stick together and that I do really want the Reliquum 3 and myself to be the F4, and hope he wants that too... I also threw in that I would like Bree to go before the F4 because she doesn't deserve it. I know Mark told me that Knox also told him that he trusts Zac and Mark but doesn't like Bree and doesn't trust me, so I really need to have Knox trust me or else he will flip against me. I could very well be going this round. Knox replied saying he's busy (of course, yet many of us are busy and he still has no relationship with anyone--very telling) and that he would like to properly reply to me later. I wonder if he will admit to me what happened. If we can get Knox to "take charge" of the vote against the faves, we should be good. Knox has such an ego. I said this before that Knox is someone who wants to play a big game but isn't able to and it likely frustrated him. I think this was a key error in Mark and Zac's judgment in voting Gabe off over Knox, but that wasn't my decision and there's nothing that can be done about that. Zac is also really pissed with Knox because he won't answer his PMs, so I'm glad that the Zac/Knox element is nothing concerning. It does look like the faves will not vote for Knox or Zac, as they are not threats, so Mark, Bree, and myself need to keep our guards up. It looks like Liam should win immunity.

I was trying to remind him, indirectly, that flipping equals no votes. I figure with him thinking Bree is gone after Taylor he'll feel in control of the game. I think the plan right now is to Matt Elrod Knox (Redemption island blonde guy who got voted off twice by Rob Marion) and boot him 4-3-1 next round and eliminate the wildcard. This would be ideal. I really hope Knox is solid now, although he did say he had been talking with the favorites which makes me nervous. If we get through this round, we are almost golden...


Also, last night Mark told Bree about his idol and intended F3 with him and me. Bree is completely on board. We should have her secured in our corner for now. Me, Bree, Mark, Zac are all on the same page now and working as a unit.

So last minute crazy shenanigans has taken place and I must fill y'all in!

So last night, Gloria told me that we "need to talk." She essentially begged me to vote for Taylor. I told her no, I never speak with Taylor, but I'm willing to vote Bree off next. Bree knows that we are pretending to vote her off the next week, but instead use our idol on Bree next round and blindside Knox or Gloria since Knox will vote Bree and it will be 4-4. Bree has even agreed to throw the challenge next week to make sure they vote for her and we don't have to worry about what Knox may do and who to play the idol on. She's been pretty courageous, I'm growing to respect Bree more and more.

Gloria told me she would do her own thing then, which of course worries me because I know how persuasive she can be. I sent Mark, Bree, Zac, and Knox what Gloria was trying to do, so that they don't feel special if approached by Gloria or any of the faves. To me it is clear that they are desperate, or else if they had a power/idol or had Knox's vote, they won't be pushing so hard.

I woke up this morning to pure gold from Liam in my PM box.

Here is the PM he sent me:

I'm just going to be direct because I don't do subtle well.Knox told us you guys were voting for Ben last round. Knox and Mark say they are going to vote for Taylor this round, and you next round. Here's the deal. If they are telling the truth and you vote with them this round, it'll be down to 8, so the 3 faves are going to need 2 votes to stay in (Knox and Mark). Quite frankly, I'd rather have you around then those two, but I will go with them next round if it's my only choice.

This game is all about timing, and Knox just tipped his hand too early. We know the fans aren't sticking together, so the question is, do you want to be here in two rounds? You can get the jump on those two. Just give me us a name, and we will vote with you.

You said in your judgment you want honesty. Knox figured out how to use the faves to get Starr out and now he's trying to use them to get you out.

Believe me or don't, but ask yourself, "Why would they want Taylor out?" Seriously, why would they want to vote out the least useful member of our group unless they were planning something?

So, this is it, let me know, and the sooner is better because there's a deadline coming up.

I couldn't stop smiling. I know what Knox had done already, so none of this was news to me. I have complete faith in Mark, I know he didn't do that and has only been working on Ben. I know that both Knox and Mark have been telling them it's Bree after Taylor, but by saying me Liam is hoping I'll freak out and vote with him.

I thought long and hard about what to do and I decided to send Liam a response that I would then send to Knox so Knox would know that 1) Liam sold him out and 2) That I don't believe Liam and that I'm loyal to Knox.

This is the PM I sent back to Liam:

Hey LiamWow, that's a lot of information. I appreciate you taking the time to send all that. It's very compelling...

I have to make a judgment call here. One part of me says that it's true because you're in a desperate position, and the other part of me says it's not true because you're in a desperate position. It's a Catch-22.

I've taken a while to reply simply to process the information and think about it, and I have to say that I don't believe that any of it is true.

I've known Knox and Mark for longer than you have, and I know they are both level-headed guys. I don't see the advantage for either of them to join the favorites and vote me off. They would lose the fans' votes in a jury vote situation, and if they are sitting next to any favorite in the finals, they would most certainly not receive their votes either. I don't think either Mark or Knox is playing for third place 0 votes-getter. It wouldn't make any sense from a strategic point for them to do what you're saying they are doing.

Also, if Mark and Knox really did say that to you, I don't see why you wouldn't simply go along with the Taylor vote this week and then blindside me the next round. What you would be doing here is violating the trust of someone you say will flip, and that doesn't make any sense if it's true. It's very easy to manipulate or change conversations that you copy and paste, so I do think you made that conversation up to make me worried. Also, nowhere in that conversation does it show Knox saying he will vote me off next, so I have to assume that you're making up that they are targetting me because you want me to flip. I'm sure if you sent this same PM to Bree or Zac, you would simply tell them the same thing: that Knox and Mark want to boot them after Taylor.

Last round Starr told me she wanted to tell the favorites that the vote was Ben in case you all had an idol, because she was paranoid you would all vote for her. I told her not to but Starr was never one to listen to anyone. I personally believe that Starr told you all that the vote was Ben, and in return you all blindsided her. I don't buy that Knox said anything. He was very busy last round, and you aren't online very often, so I find it difficult to believe that you two even had a conversation like that.

I read from Season 3 that the biggest mistake you said you made was making a small lie instead of a big lie, and this to me appears to be your "big lie" in hopes that you can keep all 4 of the favorites together. If you knew I was going next round, you wouldn't have given me this "information." You wanting to save Taylor so badly tells me that you want a Final 4 of all favorites and this wouldn't make sense for Mark or Knox to join.

Of course I could be wrong, and I will pay for those consequences next round, as you've stated. However, I have to trust that my faith in the people I've know for most of the game is genuine, and that's the risk I have to take, much like the risk you've taken by sending me this PM.

I sent Liam's original PM and my reply straight to Knox, but I said it was to both Knox and Mark so Knox would feel that it's not just an accusation on him, but Mark also. This way Knox is cornered without feeling he's threatened. If he feels that Liam betrayed him, he'll stick with us possibly even next round so we won't have to use our idol at all, which would be great because we are all paranoid about the faves finding an idol with new clues and ruining our game.

Mark is thinking he will give Zac his idol in case this is all some crazy scheme and Mark, who is a challenge threat, goes home. This way we keep the idol alive in any case, and Zac certainly won't be leaving tonight.

Bree, Mark, Zac, and myself are all on the same page here. We want to go to the top 4 together. It's pretty amazing actually to see how smoothly the group operates. It takes a tole on me trying to monitor everyone but that's what you have to do.

Mark told me today that he thinks I'm going to win the game. He said not to be threatened by that comment but he really believes that. Of course it is nice to hear but there is much to concern myself with: idols, jury speech, getting there to begin with, immunities, etc. I just need to take this round by round right now.

We'll see what happens. Who knew that the Taylor vote would be the most pivotal!

It's been a while since I've spoken about how I feel about people. I know it can get muddled out when I'm writing confessionals about the ongoing strategy.

Mark: Mark's my number 1 boy. I really do care about him and I intend to continue our relationship outside of this. I feel like he's the Stephen to my JT, and I would be so happy if either of us won. He's like a brother to me out here. We work so well together, we've shared a lot about our personal lives with each other. It's a really great relationship and I feel so fortunate to have met him. I'm so glad we voted out Naomi!

Zac: I also really like Zac, but I don't think he can win this game. He isn't social enough with other people. I would love him in the F3 for both strategic and personal reasons.

Bree: I like Bree much more now that she's dropped the schtick, although she does have an ego and is more of an emotional player than she knows, much like Starr. This is probaby why she doesn't get along with Starr: too similar. Mark and I make an F3 with her so that in an F4 situation Zac and Bree won't team up, especially if either of them win IC. Mark and I can both easily beat Bree and Zac in a jury vote, so it works well for us.

Gloria: I'm beginning to wonder if my feelings for Gloria are not as strong as I had thought they were. I think my emotional investment in her is actually a strategic investment. I do like her but I think I'm not as into Luis as I thought I was. Strategically, we just can't work together, which is a shame.

Liam: Not as active as he needs to be, and also a little overconfident in his abilities. I'm not afraid of him at all. I can run social circles around this theoretical math junkie

Taylor: We have actually spoken a total of 2 times, each for at least under 3 minutes in length. Why is he here? Why was he even cast? He clearly has no time for the game, it's really insulting.

Ben: I can't trust this guy. I don't enjoy his empty conversation. He speaks with smilies and talks poorly about himself but it is all very calculated. You can feel the anxiety on the other end. It's not enjoyable.

Knox: I think he's a spoiled brat. He's an idiot for what he did last round. He is completely ignorant in his view of the game and he's so entitled. I will really enjoy the day he leaves because he has been so useless for so long, and now he believes he should call the shots. The moves he's made are so unnecessary. He needs to get over himself. I always said he was one to watch and one to make stupid moves for the sake of making them, and look what happened!

Although this game drives me crazy, thanks for the experience Mr. God Host and to all the PWs for their hard work and participation so far this season. It hasn't gone unnoticed and I am eager to see what has gone on once the finale comes along.

My plan came together perfectly. I'm so relieved it worked.

Liam and Knox came online around the same time, Mark was also on.

Knox immediately starts trashing Liam saying Liam should have gone this week and that he wishes he wasn't immune.

Liam starts showing me PMs that Gloria sent him about Knox wanting to flip BEFORE Carly was even booted. He also admits that the target was Bree next round, not me, which matches up to what I had known from Mark and Knox anyway.

Knox also begins showing me everything Liam says to him. Knox then goes on away and writes "Brb making food and plotting Thiago's demise with my BFF Liam <3"

Knox hates Liam now, is totally solid on voting off Taylor now.

Liam seems sympathetic to me and pissed off at Knox, which is great in a jury situation.

Mark tells me Knox is covering his tracks with him and Knox is totally scared shitless and is on our side completely for now.

BOO-YA. Hit the showers boys.

Knox doesn't know I know that Liam is telling the truth, I keep saying Liam is an awful liar and we are bashing him together, so I think Knox feels he is safe with me and that I don't believe Liam. I feel bad because I know Liam is telling the truth, and probably is relaying information second-hand from Gloria and Ben. I think Gloria and Ben were worried it would backfire, like it has on Liam, so they had him do it since he's immune.

Knox was telling me that Ben is a nice guy but I asked Ben if Knox or Mark told him it was me or Bree, and he said yes. I immediately showed this to Knox.

Ben admitted to me that the plan was me or Bree this round, which I believe Knox did say. Knox agreed to flip this round and I'm buying it, but they're pissed because Knox decided to back out and take out Taylor once he realized I was willing to take out Bree next round. Points for me!

Let's see how this continues to play out. I'm glad Knox really knows he can't trust them. However, Knox, your days are numbered... It's ironic that the Jersey Shore Italian is the one to get shanked for ratting out his group. He'd make a poor mafioso. He's dead to us.

I feel horrible for Liam right now.

He's telling the truth, Knox is lying through his teeth and trying to save his own ass.

It's clear Gloria and Ben told Liam to PM me with what to say and he can't really explain things coherently with me because he doesn't know everything. Gloria and Ben have used him as a shield since he's immune if it backfires. I think it's cowardly of both of them.

Liam is trying and I respect that hugely. I can't stand Knox. He's so slimy.

So it looks like I got myself out of a potentially hazardous situation. It does explain why Gloria felt so upset the other day, because I was going home.

The ironic thing is that nothing has really changed. Knox is still voting as he was going to before Liam sent the PM, and Knox is still going to go home before Bree, because we have the idol if we have to use it.

I showed Gloria the PM Liam sent me which he claims Gloria sent him. It seemed legit given when I know:

One of the fans has been hinting at flipping. And I decided to have a chat with them last night. I made a deal with that person. I told them that if we let Carly go. I'd use the idol on one of you guys this round so we could get one of the fans out. And they agreed to it because they feel on the outs of the fans and they feel unappreciated. Especially after showing them some things the fans had told me back on Farrago. I know it sounds risky. But I've been playing with my gut all game and it hasn't failed me yet. I trust us here. And I know it sounds shady that I let Carly go but I didn't feel comfortable idoling someone who is literally never around not to mention that this fan person would feel comfortable with less favorites instead of 5 of us. I know again, risky. But I feel like this plan will work out and I just know this will work out. I will be transferring the idol once I know who they are voting for. So be on the lookout. Whenever each of you vote. Post that you want to use the idol in case you're not online after i passed my idol. We need to agree on who we're voting for. I'd like to idol either Starr or Mark because they are on charge over there.

Liam was trying to convince me that he was telling the truth and that Knox is lying.

I do believe Liam, but the more I tell him I don't believe him, the more information he offers up.

I immediately sent this to Gloria to ask her if it was true. She said that Liam made that up and she's pissed off that he would make something up like that.

Given the contents of the PM, I know Gloria is lying. It also confirms to me now that Knox may be one of the people she "cares" for outside of the game, but who knows. The fact that she didn't tell the faves flat-out in her original PM tells me that she does have a close bond with Knox in the game.

I immediately told Knox that I told Gloria and that Gloria confirmed it was a lie, and that this only further confirms that Liam is a huge liar. I feel bad talking to Gloria and Knox about how Liam is a huge liar, but the more they think I believe them the less worried they will be about me playing them.

I showed Liam what Gloria said to me, and Liam told me he sees that Gloria is playing for herself and she's always been that way, and that he's being thrown under the bus by her and Knox. He told me that he genuinely likes me and Ben the most in this game, and given that the favorites are clearly falling apart, if I need his vote to let him know.

This is huge. First of all, I'm thinking great, jury vote from Liam. I am also thinking that Ben/Liam/Gloria/Knox voting together against Bree isn't going to happen thanks to all the "sharing" I've done. This allows us to keep Mark's idol unused which should avoid any more clues coming out since the idol is still in play. This would be very ideal for our game right now.
