Round 15 Confessional

Now I couldn't let this round get away without giving an update, lest anyone forget who's inn charge.

But in all honesty, I think a lot of people aren't sure what really went on in this game, and will be very surprised when the truth comes out. Thiago and I have worked together like a well oiled machine and kept our relationship well under wraps. Even Bree and Zac don't know to what extent Thiago and I have been working...since day one...sharing everything. And its been a long tumultuous road in some places. Now Ben scrambled hard last night; harder than anyone has scrambled all merge I think, and his arguments were intriguing and I believe a testament to how well Thiago and I have hidden. Ben made pleas to everyone, but to Zac and I he said that Bree and Thiago had positioned themselves into places of power especially after orchestrating that the vote. I could only smile and nod and tell him things aren't always as they seem and would be made clear very shortly. Of course I couldn't yet tell him the tie vote was my idea. Not Thiago' s, who was just as comfortable reading in the power of my idol. Not Bree' s who was more interested in a play to get them to vote for me for the sake of them being blindsided by my idol, thus leaving herself wide open should the choose not to vote accordingly on the sly. I was not about to have both of them slip by, so I hammered the tie scenario in. And we dodged a bullet there. Thiago wanted to be honest Abe and tell them the truth since one of them, in theory, was dead in this judgement. But Thiago overlooked the possibility of Ben voting Liam to save himself...and Ben' s the one we needed gone the most. So, at the last, minute Thiago convinced Liam he needed to vote Ben for a fighting chance.

All is well that ends well, don't ya know?

The vote wasn't as hard as it could have been. I liked Ben. Had we started on the same tribe, I have no doubt we would have been fast friends and allies. But since we weren't, he was a detriment to my game.

This round has been a bit lack luster. There was no way Liam was surviving without immunity, and I snatched it away from him. I just find it so ironic that he is the last favorite standing, especially after the horrible strategy he's executed. Really thebest favorite and the most threatening to my game even before the merge was Gloria. She could have had this game easily, Knox wasn't smooth enough to keep their tie a secret. He often lets his "way" middle up good strategy. And that was where he tipped us off. Liam came along and put the nail In the coffin. Too bad Gloria.

Liam will be gone in only a few short hours. Bree is suddenly unsure and was randomly justifying her previous actions in the game to both Thiago and me. I find this highly amusing...and satisfying.

It's ironic that I came into this game scrambling for my life. Now, at the end, I find myself granting it. I really want to be able to explain my game in just one short round. I have an arc I'm really excited to narrate.

I don't know exactly what FiboGate is, except for Bree' s long, convoluted story that I only half listened to, but it's tiresome that her strategy is based on this other game. And so far her claim to control is "leading the Chad vote." I say with 12 variables, no one can claim absolute control. Influence? Absolutely. We all had an influence. But I played wrecklessly...on purpose...that round. Why? I'm so glad you asked. Because I had access to two idols, and there was not one person in this game that was considering the looming tie vote. I was infinitely more comfortable having the target switched to me so that I could control that tie. Unless there were promises being thrown out like confetti at a ticker tape parade, I'm baffled no one considered the tie scenario and that Gloria did not use hers. I said all that to say...there are many sides to this game and potential finalists would do well to remember that.

On a different note, if a winner would be announced today, my bets go to Thiago, just based on his torch walk. He played a flawless game in the social aspect. I feel more behind the scenes strategic than him, but I don't think this jury will see that. Or reward it.

What am I going to do about that? Absolutely nothing. A jury is too volatile an arena to predict exactly what they'll do, and I'm good enough with words and my perception of the game to put up a fight. Plus, let it be said here and now that I'm a loyal player. As a rule of thumb I always stick with my initial allies...which would be Thiago and Zac. I only backstab when I see a stabbing coming. And I usually do.

I just got annoyed with Thiago for the first time in this game. He just told me he called BS on my comments about Gloria in my torch walk and laughed at it. There was nothing in those comments that weren't genuine.

Anyway, he's told me that Bree wants to vote me off now. Makes sense. But I don't think Bree has a case against anyone, so It would make a lot of sense for Thiago if he wants to get in the final 3 with two people he can beat. I think it is playing with fire, though, not knowing what kind of a bitter jury it will be. If I'm to be honest, I think Thiago's winning this game no matter who he's up against.
