ROUND ONE

Right. Now that I'm here and one of the last remaining hopes for humanity, the first order of business is to delve into the relationships of these returning players to see what we, as the newbs, are up against. I've already suggested this plan to fellow Reliquum tribemates Dion and Thiago, were already here before me. It's a good way to break the ice and start a possible working relationship. It's really easy to talk to Dion, so I can see us working well together. And with 17 posts before the game's even begun, she's probably going to be one of the most active people on the tribe.

Thiago: i think it's their opportunity to redeem themselves so they'll be intense

Thiago: i think my biggest concern is that they all find common ground in wanting to destroy us and unite in that way
Thiago: but once there's some sort of swap or shake up, i can see them going to war with each other

As far as I'm concerned (and I know we haven't seen any of us in action yet), I could play the rest of the game with these guys. But we'll see how it goes from here. And I promise I won't be posting every boring conversation I have because I know how much of a pain they are to read. hahaha.

As for the challenge tonight, I'll try to make it and try to contribute enough to stay safe even if we lose. And I'll be going away for a few hours but will be back just before the challenge where I plan to continue my homework assignment on the relationships of the returning players on the Admonitio tribe. Possibly shortly after. Maybe tomorrow. haha. I know tonight will be a busy night of communicating with my tribe.

A lot has happened since I've last been here...

A lot of new faces arrived, I missed the challenge, which we lost unfortunately.

When I left earlier this afternoon, after speaking with Thiago and Dion, I was confident that I'd be in good standing within the tribe, maybe even one of the top dogs. Then I get back after missing the challenge, and it seems like some people who arrived to the tribe after me could be calling the shots. And I don't like it. But I have to go with it for now. So that's what I'll do.

Luckily for me, I wasn't the only one who didn't participate in the challenge. No Mark, Bree or Knox either. So I immediately speak with Thiago who tells me I should maybe speak with Starr and Pilar as they seem to be a couple of the most active people. Before I left this afternoon, I had sent Starr a pm to say hello as I had seen her join our tribe and I'd already signed out of AIM. So at least I've sort of already spoken with her. So I've now had conversations with Thiago, Dion, Starr and Pilar, apologized for missing the challenge and said that I'd vote however they wanted. The consensus seems to be that the vote will be for Mark, which is good.

I've also been talking with Knox. And since we both missed the challenge, I suggested that we not vote for each other since the others will be looking for a non-challenge participating scapegoat. So that could be the start of a future alliance, we'll have to see.

I talked very briefly with Julian before the challenge, and since then I've heard that some people might find him annoying. Fine with me. Still have yet to speak with Gabriel, Reese, Naomi, Bree and Mark.

And can I just say about Zoe...

Well, I knew that the vote would be Mark, unless Mark started talking to people, which he has...myself included. Now as badly as I feel for the guy, I'd rather it be him than me or Knox. However, I did tell him that if we're both here next round, that I'd be open to working with him while we can. So that's sort of incentive to want to keep him around, but also it's a conditional alliance offer, so if I need to, I can still vote him out!

However, he was hardcore campaigning this morning to me and Dion, who told him to talk to people and maybe focus on getting the vote on Naomi or Knox. I will not have Knox leaving the game this early, so I tried to get Mark to instead try to focus on maybe getting the target on Naomi or Bree, since I've not spoken to either of them. lol

Dion says she'd be fine with Naomi as the vote, I don't think she likes her very much, which is fine with me. She's going to feel people out, see if there's a way to save Mark, and if not, we'll just vote him out with majority. But because she's in a better position than I am to do so, she's going to see what people are thinking about a last minute switch. And I mean, is it better to keep someone whose part in the challenge may have cost our tribe the win, or someone who only missed one challenge (which required 6 people to sit out anyway) because of a prior engagement?

I think we could get Knox and Thiago to join us (Dion, Mark, myself), which would make 5, and then we'd need 2 more. We could probably even pull in Julian for this vote, by telling him that he could be in danger. And then maybe Reese or Star to round it out. I'd rather get rid of someone I've not spoken with over someone that I have. If it's not a fairly unanimous vote though, hopefully the tribe won't suffer as a whole. So we'll what happens.

Well I don't know you, but you were nice enough to visit and post in here, so you're okay by me!

Wow, and just like that Naomi is out of here. That was way too easy. lol One person I don't talk to gone from the game already. And I didn't have to even get my hands dirty!

And in the same way that those who participated in the challenge bonded (except poor Naomi ), those who did not, also bonded! Myself, Knox, and Mark have decided to work together, which is awesome. And it's going to be kept separate from anything I have with Dion and Thiago. And I talk with Starr regularly enough, and I think I'm even good with Julian.

And now in a tribe of 11 people, I'm in good standing with about 6 of them, which should keep me safe for the time being. Hopefully we'll win the next challenge so the vets can lose a member, but should we have to go to another Judgment, I'm going to try to see if we can get it to be Pilar or Gabriel who goes next. I've also got my eye on Reese. But I wouldn't stick my neck out for someone like Julian either though. lol

ROUND TWO

Round One ended quite awesomely, and now round 2 is going well enough. The challenge is a bit frustrating, but a bunch of us are doing what we can. It is easier to work on this type individually, but I think eventually we'll have to go with either Mark's or Thiago's attempt and try to build on top of that. My strategy in this challenge is to pull my own weight, but not to be seen as too much of a threat, or a leader. Hopefully we win, just to even out the playing field, but if we have to go to another Judgment, I think I'll be just fine.

We finally got a good strategy going for this challenge, hopefully it wasn't too late to beat the returning players. Mark, Julian, Thiago, Dion, Gabe and myself it seems, have done the bulk of the work this round...Reese, Knox, Pilar, Bree are much too busy in their real lives. But I don't mind, as long as we come close. I don't think I'll be in danger of going home unless we lose by a technicality that was the result of some miscommunication.

Thiago's told me that he enjoys talking to me, Mark and Gabe the most. Was he hinting at an alliance between the four of us? Maybe. But either way, it's good to know.

OK. So the paranoia is starting to sink in. hahaha.

After losing another challenge, we're going to face Judgment. Just before the results, I mentioned to Dion that I didn't even want to have to discuss another vote until we had to, and she agreed. Then immediately after the results, Mark tells me that Dion said to vote Pilar.

Fine. We'll vote Pilar, since it's what everyone was thinking anyway. But don't think, lady, that you're time won't come. Mark also tells me that Dion asked if he wanted a little "sumpin, sumpin" with her, Starr, and Julian. Really? Couple this with the fact that every time we talk recently, Dion is always busy doing something (where did our love go, lady?), and you've got me thinking that your loyalties do not lie with me. Anyway, we need Mark to join them so that we can get information, and hopefully he can avert any votes against myself, or Knox.

Needless to say, this group that Thiago had mentioned earlier of me, him, Gabe and Mark is looking better and better. Gabe pulled me and Mark into a group chat to talk about the vote and told him Dion said Pilar, so fine. What if Pilar found out that Dion was throwing her name around? lol That would be evil, and could backfire on me.

So it's happy little family for now. Pilar will go, followed by Bree, and then hopefully by then, we're still a tribe, where me and the boys can take control.

Building upon the idea of a boys alliance, Mark and I just discussed the possibility of having 3 separate 3-person alliances with Knox, Gabe, and Thiago inside of a single 5-person alliance. We're being bad. lol

Call me a snake? Good riddance, Pilar! I can't believe I actually considered keeping you. Guess we made the right decision.

ROUND THREE

Thiago told me that Dion bought whatever Pilar was selling, but that he and Gabe talked her out of believing me to be an evil mastermind. Thanks guys! I wasn't here to defend myself, so Pilar figured I'd be easy pickings. So long! Anyway, Dion told me what happened, and I do feel like some trust is coming back.

As for this challenge, I wanted Thiago to win, so it'd be done quick, and we could go onto the vote. But T doesn't want it, I don't want it either. But we both have 7 different pieces, so I'm going to try to give mine away to Julian. It wouldn't be the worst thing if Julian has immunity, since we can just get rid of Reese. Or Bree. And Julian looks like Mr. Popularity to the Faves, and I remain in the shadows.

It's most likely between Bree and Reese.

I know that me, Mark, Gabe, Thiago and Knox will probably vote the same way. But we still want the tribe to be as unified as possible moving forward. I'd prefer if Bree leaves because I don't talk with her, she's useless in challenges, and she could be close with Starr, Julian and Dion. But if I can convince Dion that Reese is better in challenges, and is still less social than anyone else, maybe she'd go for it. And with the option to then have Reese available as another vote for the next time we go to a Judgement.
