Ready for a swap. lol I feel like I could last a while still on this tribe, but I'm afraid that the house is split down the middle now...

Starr, Dion, Bree, Julian on one side
Me, Mark, Thiago, Gabe, Knox on the other
but Gabe and Knox being close with Dion and Starr

which would mean that Bree or Julian would have to be the target if we have to go to another Judgment. I'm hoping Knox will vote Bree with us next time.

As soon as I saw the second vote for Bree at this round's judgment, I jumped on AIM to immediately let Starr and Bree herself, know that it did NOT come from me. I feel like it was more than just a pity vote, it was meant to cast suspicion on a particular someone, likely me, since people knew I was okay with voting either Bree of Reese. And now Bree is on a witch hunt to find "le liar", oui?

Round Four

This next challenge, where we have to complete a puzzle basically faster than someone on the other tribe, is kind of fun. We get to see what we're up against, first hand.

I'm feeling confident in my position within the tribe right now. All I have to do is beat Zoe in this challenge, and hopefully I buy myself some more time if we lose as a tribe.

I'll be talking to Dion today, see if she knows anything about the second vote for Bree.

I earned a point for our tribe in the challenge! My strategy of waiting til the last minute and putting in lower, but still reasonable time, before Zoe had the opportunity to go one minute lower worked, since neither of us challenged the other before the deadline! And we're tied up at 4 points a piece, so it all comes down to whether Chad of Admonitio can complete his puzzle fast enough.

Scoring points for Reliquum this round are Mark, Dion, Bree and myself. Not contributing are Knox, Starr, Thiago and Julian so far...Just to keep note of here. Hopefully we don't have to face another Judgement, I am NOT looking forward to that discussion of who should go.

Mark Jeffcoat: Reese told me he thought he had everyone's votes right down before the reveal because of her

Mark Jeffcoat: Reese told me that Dion said she'd vote Bree even if no one else did
Mark Jeffcoat: I didn't really believe it till that vote came up

Mark Jeffcoat: and I swore her to secrecy
Mark Jeffcoat: but she blabbed to Thiago, Bree, and Julian....LOLOLOL

So we'll see what happens if we do face Judgement. It could very well be between Dion and Bree. He also told me an apple was missing...

This is indeed a very momentous occasion! We've been talking about it for a while now, but it's finally happening. Long story short, as I'm sure you've read it already in other confessionals: Mark, Thiago, Gabe and Zac are officially aligned!

Now here's the interesting bits. Mark had previously been keeping me in the loop, but today Thiago finally shared all of it with me.

*There was a Starr, Julian, Bree, Thiago alliance from early on.
*And a Starr, Julian, Dion, Mark alliance from early on.
*Starr and Julian's plan was to merge them at some point into a 6 person alliance.
*Dion, Knox, and myself were to be kept in the dark about this vote because they think the three of us are together or some nonsense, and Dion will be leaving.
*But Thiago and Mark pulled in Gabe and myself to make an even secret-er alliance that will hopefully take control after this round.

It makes the most sense for Dion to go this round, because it keeps Starr, Julian and Bree happy, and they won't suspect that their buddies Mark and Thiago are plotting against them.

The plan is for me to vote to keep Dion along with Knox, so that Knox won't feel alone. Yes, I'll look foolish for voting in the minority, but it will serve a greater purpose! And it's a risk that I'll take because if things work out in the long run, it will be a spectacular play. Knox and I will talk and be like, we got blindsided, wtf? Then we discuss where we go from there...we decide (I'll convince him if I have to) that our best bet is to work with the boys, especially if they tell us that getting rid of Dion was the idea of Starr/Julian/Bree.

I don't like that Starr and friends think I'm an idiot, but the payoff could be so huge if everything goes as planned. They're probably like "Lets keep those losers in the dark" (this round's episode title, perhaps? ) and I'm going to play dumb, but I've actually got a pocket flashlight stashed away. lol


And no, I've not forgotten about the possibility of a tribe swap/merge, but at least things will be interesting from here on out. The worst possible thing would be me voting for Bree and then being stuck on a new tribe with her, Starr and Julian. But if that were to happen I'd flip on them so fast. It's a lot easier just to look out for yourself as opposed to a group anyway.

Basically all of us in this alliance will go against Starr, Julian and Bree at some point. I think right now I'm in the worst position, but later on, when the others vote against them, they will be.

But now I have to act like I had no idea what was going on when I talk to Knox next, and I will eventually have to go to Starr and be like, "someone told me that everyone decided on Bree, so that's what I did". And we'll both be fake with each other until our next conversation. lol

Round Five

That's right. Everyone just ignore my comments and suggestions for this shrine we're supposed to build. I thought Gabe's idea was funny, but I don't know if funny is what we want. lol But I'm trying to look like I'm putting in some effort, so that it appears that I want to win, but I really don't care. I'm ready to vote Julian, Starr or Bree out of this game.

I did talk with Knox, who now knows about the boys working together, as Mark had filled him in. I've also told Knox that I think this is a good idea. He doesn't know that he and Dion are the only ones who didn't know what was happening last round, and it needs to stay that way. I'd prefer he didn't know I was part of it until the game is over. lol

I've also talked with Bree. I apologized to her for voting her, but that I thought that everyone was doing the same. I really don't feel bad, but I need Bree (who will then talk with Starr and Julian) to know that I was one of the votes cast against her, so they know the others boys stuck with the plan. Haven't talked with either Starr or Julian since. Wonder if they feel guilty.

I'm actually surprised at the teamwork that happened late into the challenge...almost everybody started adding or changing something to make it look better.

We won? lol Such a weird feeling!

I'm also a little bummed to tell the truth, I was looking forward to our next judgement. And now we'll probably swap after this round!

Maybe I'll be getting my wish anyway, thanks to this snake...I'm hoping both tribes are just voting someone out for the fun of it. Goodbye to either Julian, Bree or Starr.

I finally had a (short) conversation with Starr and neither of us mentioned the Dion vote, but it's like there's this elephant in the room...I could make a joke there, but will not.

So I did finally bring it up indirectly, just to see what she says...

Starr Iski: Just because you didn't vote with the majority once doesn't mean anything. :-P
Zac Random: I know, but I don't understand why nobody told me about it
Starr Iski: We were wary of you being tight with Dion.
Starr Iski: We didn't want to risk a potential slip and her going to Eden or something.
Starr Iski: Or putting up a really good fight to save herself. She was the stray vote for Bree, and that's what got her targeted.
Zac Random: I can understand that, but I honestly would have voted with the tribe, is the ironic part.


And then about the possibility of a vote tonight she says:
Starr Iski: Every round is seriously a level playing field, LOL.

Interesting. Also, Thiago told me Starr was thinking of even turning on Julian....what does that say about Starr that she keeps dropping allies?

Round Six

Snake twist! 3 new tribes. Starr was half right. 3 sacrifices from each tribe formed a third tribe. So now as it stands, the tribes are:

Reliquum: Gabriel, Julian, Knox, Mark, Zac

This is good for me and the boys in my alliance. Julian is the first to go if he doesn't win immunity, and I'm not sure he realizes just how screwed he is. But hopefully he feels comfortable enough. At least Mark and I are tight enough that we'd not vote for each other and have an alliance with both Gabe and Knox should Julian win individual immunity.

Admonitio: Beau, Ben, Carly, Liam, Selena, Stephenie, Taylor

The good news with this tribe is that one of them will be voted out, leaving one less favorite. Don't care who it is.

Farrago: Bree, Chad, Gloria, Starr, Thiago, Tina

This is the most interesting scenario by far(rago). It's most likely going to remain a split tribe, so one of them will gain the upper hand at this judgement and probably pick the rest off easily. So hopefully Thiago can build some relationship with Tina and the favorites to keep him around...he should let them know that Starr and Bree are super close, so that they're broken up first.

Mark won individual immunity for our tribe, which means Julian is vulnerable! He needs to feel extra safe so that he doesn't play some advantage if he has one, so I need to know that I'm not voting for him, so I sent him a pm saying that I'll be around to talk about the vote tomorrow night. Knox is supposed to tell him that he's voting for me, and I'm supposed to tell him that I'm voting Knox. With Mark being immune, it helps to divert Julian's attention from targeting Mark, like he told Gabe he wanted to do.

Julian's gone! That plan worked. And it didn't seem to bother him too much that he got outplayed/outwitted. Also Tina and Beau were voted out of the other two tribes...

That means that there are now 7 former Reliquum members to 8 former Admonitio. We are closing the gap! Now hopefully the next challenge is for tribal immunity, and our tribe wins so that at least we know there's a chance that no former Reliquums will leave.

Round Seven

Mark is very frustrated with this tribe's performance in this challenge, and probably frustrated with me personally for whatever reason. But it's all just down to bad timing...

I would have preferred to wait a little later to fill the beakers last night, but he had wanted to get them done before he left work. So we started, and then my dad wants to me to go somewhere with him right at that time. What am I supposed to do? I finished the challenge, but was distracted the whole time by someone repeatedly calling my name. Knox did Part B pretty well, got all the beakers emptied. And then because they had 3 of them online (Mark, Gabe, Knox), they just went for Part C, and Knox's internet started acting up and Mark had to leave, and they lost 4 gallons or something like that. There's not really anything we can do, it's just a sucky situation.

Mark then IMs me with just a "...". I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but I'm assuming it's directed at me and not just the situation because I started talking to him and he's not replying.
